Toxico-Pharmacological Tests and Clinical Studies

The tests of Kappa-Elastin were carried out at European University Research Centers:

  • Biochemical studies
  • Histological studies
  • Pharmacocinetic studies
  • Morphological studies
  • Toxicological studies

Clinical studies employing Indentometry with a Kappa-Elastin trial during one week. The test proved that the cream with Kappa-Elastin was active and increased both moisture level (12,4%) and elasticity (7%).

Kappa-Elastin has been also tested in open clinical trials where it was provided as only treatment:

  • To young and adult patients
  • On all types of skin: Dry, Oily, Normal and Combination.

The improvement in terms of hydration, elasticity and wrinkles is statistically significant.

Hydration Elasticity Wrinkles
Young and adults patients 62,4 % 65,0 % 54,2 %
Adults over 35 years 67,7 % 66,7 % 58,0 %

Tolerance Test

The test was carried out at Saint-Louis Hospital – Paris. The cream with Kappa-Elastin was well tolerated. Neither any reaction of primary irritation, nor any allergy symptom within the test period could be observed. Consequently the patients tested did not show any sensitiveness to cream components.

Studies proved the efficiency of the cream with Kappa-Elastin on:
